From July 14th to 23rd, 2025, the Chess Federation of Serbia, under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports, is organizing the 5th INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CHESS FESTIVAL called "SERBIA OPEN 2025". The tournament will be held at the "Metropol Palace" hotel (Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 69).

Grandmasters Vladimir Fedoseev (2701) and Kirill Alekseenko (2698) confirmed their participation in the 2nd International Open Chess Championship of Serbia - "SERBIA OPEN 2022" which will be held in Novi Sad, on June 28 - July 6, 2022.

Vladimir Fedosejev recently participated in the FIDE Grand Prix tournament in Belgrade, and last year he took third place at the "Serbia Open 2021". Kirill Alekseenko also belongs to the group of the young Russian top grandmasters, and he was a participant in the Candidate Tournament 2020-2021.
